As an Admin you have the ability to set-up Workflows for Issues, dependent on customisable criteria.

But let's take a step back here, what are actually Workflows?

A Workflow is a sequence of tasks that processes a set of data.

In OpsBase in order to create an Issue Workflow you will need to:

  • Set up your trigger Conditions

  • Set up your consequent Actions

Let's look at a few examples:

  • When an issue is raised (trigger) that is given a Critical priority (condition), send an email to all Senior Managers (action)

  • When an issue is raised (trigger) and the type is Management (condition), send an sms to +44 7123 456789 (action)

  • When an issue is closed (trigger) and the type is Maintenance (condition), assign an Op to the person who closed the issue (action)

Let's explore together how workflows can be configured to best reflect how your business works ⬇️
